Volunteering in the Hilton Schools

Policy on Volunteers - School Volunteer Regulations 3211P.  Hilton schools, parent-teacher-student organizations and booster clubs encourage volunteers to get involved.

Volunteer Events Pass  is awarded to a parent or community member who has volunteered a minimum of 40 hours for any school year.  The pass enables bearer to free admission to all district events [including sporting events] which charge a fee. For information, contact the Superintendent's Office at 585-392-1000 ext. 7043.   

Nominate a Hilton School Volunteer for the Hilton Board of Education Friends of Education Award which is presented annually.

Hilton High School - needs volunteers in various capacities including the HS Parent Organization;  Senior Bash Committee; school drama events including the musical, student council activities, Mock Trial competition, etc. Contact: HS Principal Brian Bartalo - 585-392-1000 ext. 2021. Hilton Music Boosters - President Rich Rivera ; Hilton Sports Boosters - needs volunteers for fund-raisers and other activities supporting the Hilton's Athletic Program - 585-392-1000 ext. 2135.

Merton Williams Middle School -  the parent forum; school musical events, dances chaperones, ticket sales, field trips, fund-raising events, 8th grade class activities and other events throughout the school year. Northwood Elementary School - needs volunteers for its parent organization, NW VEPTO Web  [Volunteer Elementary Parent Teacher Organization], for the Northwood Parent-Teacher Partnership Advisory Committee; the Home School Relations Committee, for Rock-n-Read, fund-raisers, childcare for parent-teacher conferences and more. Contact:  Principal Kirk Ashton 585-392-1000 ext. 4526.
